Citalopram?

Hi all,
I've just botched my first suicde attempt and have been prescribed
Citalopram. Is this going to help me at all? Anyone have any positive
experience with this stuff. Any help gratefully recieved.

Alot of drug review sites and posts I have seen elsewhere gives rave reviews
on how it saved there life. I just started about a month ago and up to
100mg. You start at a real low dose and the dr. will gradually increase it
because of a possible rare deadly rash.
I am looking forward to positive results- but is going to take a long time
to build up the dose and like other depression meds takes awhile to work in
your brain sysytem.
good luck- I tried suicide. It is not the answer.
